Bought this beautiful basket as a baby gift for my niece. It was perfect. Came wrapped in a linen bag. Padding for basket seemed sufficient and had a sweet quilted cover to go over it. Basket felt sturdy and handles seemed to be attached well. The mom-to-be was quite happy to receive it.My daughter purchased this basket for her daughter, born mid February 2020. The basket is lovely and she has been very happy with it. However, a piece of the white binding has separated from the basket on the top. This piece is stiff, so no possibility of a little glue to hold it down.We have attempted to contact Linen Perch twice, through Amazon and directly to the company through email. To date we have not received a response.This basket is quite expensive for a changing basket. I understand that things happen but would expect this company to stand behind its product and not ignore a consumer.“””””””””””””” “””””””””””” “””””””””””UPDATE:I am pleased to say that both my daughter and I received a response from Linen Perch. The basket is being replaced; my daughter is very happy that she will have a new basket and not fear her daughter being poked by hard plastic. She spent a lot of time researching before purchasing this particular basket. Things do happen, however, I am glad to see that Linen Perch cares enough about their products and their consumers .....do not hesitate to purchase this item!This was a perfect diaper changing station. Not only is it absolutely adorable, but it is large enough for a growing baby and the best part of all is how easy it is to clean. When we have blowouts, I clean the pad with cold water and detergent and air dry. The basket itself I was worried about cleaning, but all you need is a wet rag and it wipes right up.Basket is beautiful and very high quality! Can’t wait to use it with our first baby arriving in January! Only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because I’d the poor communication with the seller. I’ve emailed and messaged the seller a few times about replacement pads and got no response. Luckily I found a store on Etsy that makes custom size pads to fit the basket.I love this product. The pad is comfortable for my little one. The look is just like the picture. The product is very sturdy, I feel like my little one is safe. I wish it came with multiple pad covers. It smell like wicker but what do you expect, plus I love that smell. I’m from the islands FYI. Overall I would purchase again.I love the look of changing table baskets, but if your picky like me; every little detail matters. The one major thing that threw me off about this changing basket are the handles.. they are not the same seagrass that the basket is made from and they are very mis-shaped. I tried to bend them down and they dont even bend down, they stay up-right in a funky curved shape. Also, the pad is a tad thin and the cover that goes with it is a little over sized. If your not picky like me, you probably wouldn’t have even noticed the handles or the loose cover. Overall i give it 3 stars. Unfortunately i will be returning this.I love this basket!! It’s got a strong grassy smell when you first get it, which took several days to go away. But other than that, I could not be happier! A lot of people were saying the pad wasn’t very thick inside, but I think it’s plenty thick! Definitely soft and cushy. The other baskets I tried before this one had very flimsy pads—this one is more like a cushion. Great size and color!!AMAZING BUY. So sturdy. Keeps its shape. Easy to clean. Aesthetically beautiful !!!! Love itThe grass was nice but the weave to hold it together was cheap stretchy plastic cord and ours was broken. We were also missing missing nice linen pad they advertised came with it....it came with a linen sheet but the pad in the photo would have been nice since it was expected.
