To start, I’m VERY sensitive to fabric. When a reviewer says something isn’t itchy, that still means itchy to me lol, especially poor quality acrylic and polyester, even some cotton. Don’t get me started on wool, even 1%. Unlike many other sweaters I’ve ordered off Amazon, this one is actually soft! I needed to wash it at least once though honestly, but it’s actually comfortable to wear!!!! It’s midweight but drapes nicely. I’m in LA so like a leather jacket over this on chilly nights is enough, but it’s not too hot to wear inside either. I do prefer a roomier fit. Not hugely oversized, just comfortably loose. In saying that, I did get an XL. I’m 6’1”, size 4/6 so I have long arms and the XL is perfect in the sleeves (a rare find!) and really just super comfy. Often necklines bother me as well, but this doesn’t feel constrictive at all. I’ve washed it on warm/cold, gentle cycle then air dried but finished off on low heat in the dryer to keep it soft and loose. It doesn’t seem to have shrunk and I’ve probably worn the first one about 15 times? I first got the sort of rust color, which I love, and just received black and white. It’s a really great basic staple sweater.I originally ordered as per size chart (mfg and Amazon recommended size, large) had to return and order size up. (Extra Large)This sweater is BEAUTIFUL!BEAUTIFUL FIT (one size up, for me, not too tight, but super cozy)BEAUTIFUL MATERIAL so soft, smooth, not Itchy or Scratchy *calm down (insert known animated series here), fans!I now own 4 of these sweaters in different colors (unlike favorite *same animated series*, characters), I Absolutely Love Them!I highly recommend *one size up, if you like your sweaters not 'binding-feeling'. Just a little loose and cozy. I can layer a tank or tshirt under, if I want, and still use a warm winter coat over all of it.I love the neck line.. not quite a turtleneck, but close enough to me warm, but not choking.I love that I feel very comfortable wearing these with my comfy sports bras, yet still feel and look very well put together!5 stars for this BEAUTIFUL sweater!I might take away for size inaccuracy. We need better size charts for selling "Normal US Sizes"! Getting so annoying! I'm never confident in a new clothing purchases because of the discrepancies between sizing from different manufacturers.Love this sweater. I just bought three colors. They arrived super fast! Brown, black, and the lighter red color in size small. I am 5' 5.5" and about 130 lbs. and I generally wear x-sm to sm size tops. The description says oversized and in comments if you want more of an oversized fit to size up. But some items get boxy-fit when you do that. So I did not follow that advice. Sleeves are long, they lay over the hand, which is nice. It is NOT as long as they show. We will see how it fits once washed. Colors are true to what I saw on screen. The red I ordered is a nice orangey-red color, not a true red, or burgundy. It will be great for fall. Heads up: The black (as most black colored clothes do) fits smaller than the other two colors. And the black one arrived with one of the shoulder knitting coming apart, so I have to return that one. These are not extremely soft, but they are not itchy, or scratchy. I have to be careful of what I wear with my sensitive skin, and this is ok. Overall, nice sweater. I would recommend to buy!The knitting, design and quality on this pullover is lovely, nice mock turtle does not choke but it stands up at the neckline with out crumpling down. The sleees are long and billowy (so on-trent) but the body of the sweater is shorter, more like a pullover that will just meet the top of your pant's waistband. I was hoping it was longer as somewhat indicated in the photo, so that I could wear it oer jeggings, but it does not, hence the one-star ding. I look forward to wearing this to work tomorrow with black pants.a little on large side but beautifulIt's nice and soft, and loose-fitting the way I like my sweaters.The neck is very big and loose which I don't like in a turtleneck. Would have given a five if it had been knitted a little tighter. I ordered an XL, my size, and the fit is perfect, however if you want a slouchy loose fit, you should order up one or two sizes. Color is hunter green and very saturated. Sleeves are very long so I roll them up.I absolutely LOVE ❤️ LOVE this sweater.I am about 5’4-5’5 and 190 lbs. I thought I had ordered a size L which is the size I typically wear. But I received a XXL. I didn’t realize this till after I had tried on the sweater. I went back and checked my Amazon order and it is showing I had ordered a XXL. I am glad I made this mistake when ordering because it fits perfect. So I would recommend sizing up!!!!The white is a beautiful stark snow white. I wouldn’t call it see through but I will most likely wear a white turtle neck under the sweater. I would consider the sweater of medium weight, and well sewn, and is not scratchy. I have sensitive skin and if a sweater is even a hit of scratchy on my skin it is a no go for me.I will be ordering several more in different colors.
