We love our ERGObaby and think this is a great alternative to a Tula or other more expensive soft structured carrier. The ERGO doesn't hurt my back and is very comfortable for me and the baby. The front pocket is very deep and can hold a blanket, an extra set of clothes, cloth diaper and wet bag, or whatever else you may need for a short outing. If you have never worn a baby before in a soft structured carrier, it's great for calming a colicky baby. It allows you to have free hands to do what you need to do. It's great to use instead of a stroller---everything you'd pack in the bottom of the stroller, you can put in the ERGO pocket. In a stroller, your baby is at the same height as the hand of an adult holding a cigarette. It's also the same height as a dog's mouth. When you baby wear, your baby is up close to your face so you don't have to worry about your child being touched by a cigarette or licked by a dog.If you see yourself as a crunchy mom who wants to babywear and not worried about having expensive trendy carriers, get the ERGO.Cons:The ERGO can make you and baby hot and sweaty.Doesn't come with suck pads. Baby will suck on the straps if you don't add suck pads to them.Doesn't come with a bag to keep it in.The front buckle can cause muffin top but you can buy an attachment to widen the belt from shops on Etsy.Pros:Easy to put on and wear baby on your own.VERY, VERY easy to breastfeed and wear at the same time. You can also cover baby with the attached hood to use as you breastfeed.Easy to use a public bathroom if you have to go while you are baby wearing in public. No need to take it off.The teal is a great color! The front pocket is deep and can hold everything you need for an outing. You don't have to worry about Tula lovers "caw cawing" or shouting "Tula in the wild!" at you in public.
